Phoenix Rising
Private Classes
Questions:
How are these classes different from your 'usual' cancer care classes?

These classes are private, small and intimate. This program is part of Sky Yoga and Fitness and not sponsored or affiliated by any cancer organizations or hospitals. The weekly classes are free for those who are members of the Phoenix Rising Cancer Wellness Program. For those diagnosed with cancer and wish to 'drop in' there is a $10 fee per class. Must be approved to attend in advance.
There are many formats that I do not have the opportunity to offer in my public classes. I'm very excited to share my practices with you.

This is an excellent way to work with me in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
If you can attend the 'live' sessions, there will be additional time to share your class experience and ask questions. Get to know your other members in your class. It builds a strong sense of caring community in a relaxed environment.

Will the classes be recorded on Zoom?
Yes. Members will have access to the private Phoenix Rising video library. This is great if you are not able to join the classes 'live' - due to time zone differences, schedules or how you're feeling.

5 Elements Flow~ My all time favorite
This is an amazing flow that includes the 5 Elements (Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth) that incorporates particular movements for each element. I may focus on one Element in a class. Included in the classes will be practicing the Chinese healing sounds for the elements.
Qi Gong offers a gentle way to:
-
Reduce stress and tension in your mind and body.
-
Gently move your own energy ('Qi') in your body, see first hand how self healing can occur.
-
Very effortless and accessible to everyone.
-
While the classes are practiced standing (to strengthen your legs, improve balance), you are always welcome to practice seated.
